Since 1998, Onda Gallery has showcased prized fine artists from the Northwest and Latin America in the Alberta Street location.
Pablo Merlo Flores (owner), a native Argentinean with European ancestry, has brought the romance and rich history of the Latin American and European arts to Portland through Pampeana, his wholesale art business. It is Mr. Merlo Flores goal to continue Onda Gallery’s mission of supporting artists and artisans from various countries while partnering with some of the best emerging and established artists in the Northwest.
In conjunction with previous Onda Gallery’s owner, Allan Oliver (now Alberta Onda Gallery Director) and the new Lake Oswego Art Director Chelsea Benedict, the gallery’s vision continuers to focus on excellence while including several local and internationally known sculptors and painters with a variety of styles.
In keeping with Mr. Merlo Flores business values, Onda Galleries (Alberta and Lake Oswego) will continue supporting Sustainable and Fair Trade art works.
