Rita Urdaneta's is a young artist. Her latest paintings feature paintings created on a "Maternal" theme - inspired by the artist's experiences as a mother with a three-year-old daughter. Her work, inspired by nature and strong emotion, has a luminous quality which draws people in and creates a desire to see the art daily.
Urdaneta studied painting and received her degree in graphic design in Venezuela and then continued her studies in Toronto, Canada. Her oil paintings on canvas have been displayed in private and gallery shows, and she is developing a distinctive abstract style.
